HLBS 50th “Marathon Agapi” Radiothon

The Hellenic Ladies Benevolent Society (HLBS), a charted non-profit organization, is holding its annual Radiothon “Marathon Agapi” “Marathon of Love” on Saturday, November 16, 2019.

We are proud to report that this is the 50th Anniversary of our Radiothon, “Marathon Agapi”! It will be broadcast live from radio station  CFMB 1280 AM, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Your support will fund the HLBS Welfare Program which has helped and continues to help low income families with groceries, rent, clothing, furniture, utilities, medical expenses, as well as compassionate aid during Christmas & Easter.

About the HLBS “Marathon Agapi”

Since 1922 the Hellenic Ladies Benevolent Society (HLBS) offers its philanthropic services to low-income families of our community, bringing them financial assistance and a ray of hope. For 50 years you have shown your philanthropia through your donation to the HLBS Radiothon “Marathon Agapi”, in support of the HLBS Welfare Program. Our annual radiothon is important for everyone in our community, so by working together we can make a difference.

Your support will give HLBS the means to help improve the lives of others for this upcoming year. We are counting on your compassion and generosity. Official tax receipts will be issued for all donations over $20. 00.
