Letter to the HLBS Members dated Sept.1st, 2021

 

Dear HLBS Member,

 

As the summer days are slowly getting shorter and the fall season is approaching, the HLBS would like to take this time to inform our Membership that the annual Renewal fees will be postponed till early spring of 2022.

 

In order to avoid asking for fees twice in one HLBS term, the Board of Directors has decided to delay the Renewal fee until our next General Assembly in the spring of 2022. This time period would also correspond with our annual financial reporting from the CA.  A reminder & Renewal form will be sent out in 2022.

 

At this time, in accordance with public health regulations, the HLBS is excited to share with you the dates of this year’s upcoming events:

 

Also, we are still working on our Legacy Cookbook which we are looking forward to completing in the new year in time for our Centennial anniversary.

 

Meanwhile, our hard-working and dedicated committee members in Community Assistance, the Educational Assistance & Bursary Programs, and the Camp programs, continue to reach out and offer support and financial aid to those most in need within the Hellenic Community. With the back to school season upon us, please help us spread the word about the help we provide for children’s educational needs and our Bursary program (application deadline, September 17th).  There will be a Newsletter coming out in the beginning of the new year detailing the activities and events of the year ahead so that you can save the dates.
